I can't believe it: after almost five months of scary Winnipeg winter, YESTERDAY was the day I slipped getting off a bus and twisted my knee. The problem is that this city doesn't clean its sidewalks enough, so snow becomes ice, ice becomes slush, slush becomes puddles, and puddles become ice again. Very frustrating. So now I'm hobbling around, terrified I'll slip again and be unable to get around. Geez Louise, I sound like I'm 83!
