As with so many movies here, the publicity for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe has been quite spectacular (for the last Harry Potter movie, we had an honest to goodness labyrinth at the mall). Here's me as the White Witch outside the theatre:
The actual movie, which we saw today, was quite fabulous. I mean, as someone who has read the books fourteen times each, I thought it was just about as good as it could have been. I did miss the line about Aslan not being safe, but being good. And it did make me want to read all the books again, but fortunately I have them just about memorized. Watch for fabulous casting of Mr. Tumnus and all the Pevensies.
