Yes, we got to experience Oktoberfest in Taiwan this weekend. We went to this German restaurant and had the very Bavarian fare you see on the table in this photo:
and then partook of the bootfull of beer you see here(fortunately, a little earlier in the game!):
Also, we got serenaded by the trio (guitar a la Captain von Trapp, double bass, and accordian) that was imported from Austria along with the cooks especially for the occasion. Accordian guy was disturbingly amourous.
But we had a very lovely, German time, especially because of Andrea's linguistic skills. Also, yay Lamont for giving me my very first scooter ride.
