Today was the third meeting ever, and my first, of this splendid little secret society of eight of us (plus one member at large) who work at the office, have passports for a Commonwealth country, and are willing to act secretive and snobby about the whole thing. Lunch today was a special celebration because it was Labour Day... not here, of course. We've got a Briton, three Hong Kong ex-pats, and four Canadians, one of whom has been elected prime minister (no presidents here!).
